Privacy Policy

CrazyToad is built privacy-first. The desktop app runs entirely on your machine and sends zero telemetry. We only handle the minimum data needed to sell you a license and let you activate it.

What we collect

• At purchase: your email address and payment metadata, handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card details.
• License delivery: your email, used once to send your license key (via Resend).
• Activation (optional, best-effort): when you first activate, the app may send your license id and an anonymous machine fingerprint (a hashed identifier — not your files, name, or hardware serials) so we can flag unusual sharing. Activation never blocks a valid key, and the app works fully offline afterward.

What we do NOT collect

• No usage analytics, no telemetry, no tracking inside the app.
• No access to your code, prompts, files, or the contents of your agent sessions — those stay on your machine and go only to your own AI provider via your own CLI.

Processors we use

• Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Resend — transactional email (your license key).
• Cloudflare — hosting of this site and the license/activation service.

Retention & your rights

We keep purchase and license records for as long as needed to support your license and meet legal/accounting obligations. You can request access to or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. Note that deleting purchase records may affect support for your license.
